How Period Delay Treatment Works
Period delay treatment uses hormonal medication to temporarily postpone your menstrual cycle. By maintaining hormone levels, it prevents the drop that normally triggers a period.
Several factors can influence how well period delay treatment works, including:
Starting the medication at the correct time
Following the prescribed dosage schedule
Individual hormonal response
Existing menstrual cycle patterns
Certain medical conditions or medications
A provider consultation helps determine the right treatment plan and ensures it is safe and effective for your needs.
