Birth Control Consultation
Birth control isn't one-size-fits-all. The right option depends on your health history, lifestyle, and what you're looking for — whether that's pregnancy prevention, period regulation, managing PCOS, or clearing hormonal acne. Herexa Health's board-certified OB-GYNs match you with an evidence-based option, with your prescription sent to your pharmacy the same day. No pelvic exam required before prescribing.
Medical Notice: Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the reviewing physician and are not guaranteed. Consultation fees are non-refundable once physician review has begun.
Birth Control Consultation

Daily Birth Control Pill
A daily pill tailored to your body's needs, available in low-hormone, acne-fighting, and PCOS-friendly options.

The Birth Control Patch
The contraceptive patch (Xulane) is worn for 7 days and changed weekly for 3 consecutive weeks, followed by one patch-free week during which a withdrawal bleed typically occurs. IMPORTANT: The Xulane patch may be less effective in women weighing more than 198 lbs (90 kg). If your weight is above this threshold, your provider may recommend an alternative method during your consultation.

The Vaginal Ring
A flexible, low-maintenance vaginal ring that provides up to a month of continuous pregnancy protection.
Medications are prescribed by a licensed physician and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Packaging and brand may vary. A board-certified OB-GYN will review your answers before any prescription is issued.
Simple & Secure
How Herexa Health Works
A board-certified OB-GYN will review your answers before any prescription is issued. Our simple 3-step process ensures safe, expert-led care from home.
Finding Your Right Birth Control
Combined hormonal contraceptives — pills, the patch, and the vaginal ring — use estrogen and progestin to prevent pregnancy mainly by stopping ovulation. When taken correctly, they're over 99% effective. Progestin-only options are also available for women who can't take estrogen.
Common Goals & Uses
- Preventing unintended pregnancy
- Regulating irregular, heavy, or painful periods
- Managing PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)
- Treating hormonal acne
- Reducing endometriosis-related pain
- Skipping or controlling your period
Note: Combined hormonal birth control is not recommended for women over 40 who smoke. Your provider will recommend the
safest option based on your health history.
